What started as a sneaky lunchtime pint and a game of pool in King Tuts, turned into a sacking and a new band was formed. Mayhem followed. The band were met with a healthy dose of joy and excitement, Sometimes confusion and occasionally disgust.

The Giros have since been played countless radio shows and podcasts including BBC Radio by Paul Heaton (Beautiful South) and have supported the likes of Proud Mary, Chris Helme (The Seahorses), Adam Fikec (Babyshambles), Jinx Lennon, Hugh Reed and the Velvet Underpants, Glasvegas, Sicknote, The Banana Sessions plenty other class acts along the way

There has been countless memorable gigs (some great, some not so great) under their belt from sell out nights in Glasgow at venues such as Nice n Sleazys, 13th Note, Pivo Pivo, Buff Club, Ivory Blacks to taking a coachloads on the infamous `Girobus` to Twa Tams (Perth) , Henrys (Edinburgh) and selling out the H.A.C (Irvine) as well as being the last ever band to headline the soundhaus and performing in front of 400 wrestling fans at the Classic Grand which was filmed by a SKY TV channel
